In a landmark achievement for Greek architecture, ECLÉDE has been honored with the prestigious German Design Award 2026 for its visionary project Boomerang Athens — the first LEED Platinum residence in Greece. The award ceremony took place in Frankfurt, the international center of design for 2026, gathering leading architects and designers from around the world.

Awarded in the category of Excellent Architecture, Boomerang Athens was recognized for redefining sustainable luxury living. The project seamlessly combines biophilic design, advanced energy performance, intelligent systems, and refined minimal aesthetics, setting a new benchmark for environmentally responsible residential architecture in Southern Europe.

Representing ECLÉDE, Vassilis Siafaricas received the award on behalf of the team, emphasizing the firm’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and human-centered design. In his remarks, he highlighted the collaborative vision behind the project and the importance of creating architecture that elevates both quality of life and environmental responsibility.

This distinction further establishes ECLÉDE as a leading force in sustainable design and places Greece firmly on the global architectural map.
