Behind the project stands ECLÉDE, a luxury design and development company specializing in net-zero and environmentally conscious real estate. The company has built its reputation on creating projects that blend architecture, sustainability, and investment value while respecting the character of their surroundings. ECLÉDE’s philosophy is based on the belief that luxury and sustainability are not opposing ideas but complementary strengths.

At the center of this vision is Vassilis Siafaricas, a civil engineer, entrepreneur, designer, and real estate developer with more than two decades of experience. As founder and managing director of ECLÉDE, Siafaricas has championed a multidisciplinary approach that combines engineering precision, architectural design, technology, and environmental responsibility. His work focuses on creating buildings that are both aesthetically elegant and highly efficient in their performance.

Architectural Digest describes Boomerang Athens as more than a luxury residence. The project is presented as a demonstration that sustainability can be the highest expression of luxury rather than an afterthought. Through photovoltaic energy systems, high-performance insulation, smart-home technologies, and biophilic design principles, the residence achieves exceptional environmental performance while offering an elevated living experience.

The project has gained international recognition, receiving major design awards and helping position Greece on the global map of sustainable architecture. Under the leadership of Vassilis Siafaricas, ECLÉDE continues to push the boundaries of environmentally responsible development, with Boomerang Athens serving as a benchmark for future luxury residences across the Mediterranean.

As highlighted by Architectural Digest, Boomerang Athens is ultimately a reflection of a broader vision: a future where architecture, technology, sustainability, and human well-being exist in perfect balance. Through ECLÉDE and the leadership of Vassilis Siafaricas, that future is already taking shape in Athens.

His approach is defined by minimalism, sustainability, and a strong architectural identity. “The goal for me is not style, but the creation of each intervention in relation to its surroundings,” he explains, highlighting a design philosophy that prioritizes context over aesthetics. This perspective is reflected in projects that emphasize low-energy performance, the use of natural materials, and spaces designed to enhance well-being and quality of life.

Through Ecléde, established in 2018, he develops residential and commercial projects guided by minimal environmental intervention and a careful integration into both natural and urban environments. Each development is approached as a site-specific response, reflecting the identity of its surroundings rather than imposing a predefined architectural style.

A key example of this philosophy is Boomerang Athens, a high-performance residential building in the Kolonaki area of Athens. The project incorporates advanced sustainability features such as high-efficiency insulation, triple-glazed windows, photovoltaic systems, and smart energy management technologies. The residence is designed to create a continuous flow between interior and exterior spaces, featuring four en-suite bedrooms, a rooftop pool, a private elevator, and systems focused on air quality and acoustic comfort.

Overall, his work is driven by a consistent vision: to deliver luxury residential developments that combine architectural clarity, environmental responsibility, and a deep connection to place, where living spaces are designed to function in harmony with their environment.

Set on the elevated and historic Lycabettus Hill in Athens, the project embodies a rare balance between architectural refinement, contemporary luxury, and environmental intelligence. It is conceived not as a conventional residence, but as a carefully composed architectural statement—one that integrates seamlessly into its urban and natural context while maintaining a strong sense of identity and restraint.

Boomerang Athens reflects a design philosophy rooted in precision, clarity, and permanence. Every decision—from spatial composition to material selection—serves both aesthetic and environmental intent. Sustainability is embedded within the architecture itself, expressed through thoughtful integration with light, landscape, and the surrounding city fabric, rather than treated as an external layer.

The recognition by IADA 2026 places the project among an exclusive international selection of works distinguished for their contribution to forward-thinking architecture and elevated design standards. It affirms Boomerang Athens as a project that not only meets the expectations of contemporary luxury living, but subtly redefines them.

This award underscores a commitment to architecture that is quiet yet powerful, luxurious yet disciplined—where elegance is achieved through reduction, and impact is measured in longevity rather than excess.

Boomerang Athens stands as a testament to a new language of luxury: refined, intentional, and enduring.
